Hi its Charlie, my Dad and I have a 1935 8.5 hp Sea-King and it has a cover that bolts on to the carburetor and it got banged in to and broke the Carburetor were it bolts to the engine . We believe our Sea-King has the same Carburetor as the Elto Fleet-Twin. Is there anyone out there that has a Sea-King or Elto Fleet-Twin Carburetor we could buy it. All we really need is the main carburetor housing itself, we have all the internal parts and their in working order. Also, there’s a check valve in the bottom oft the crank case that doesn’t have a spring that holds it shut. Should this disk just be able to rattle around?

Can you identify the carburetor? Look for manufacturer’s name and model information on carburetor. Many outboard makers used vendor
supplied carburetors and magnetos. Often the vendor supplied slightly
different versions of same basic model to a number of users. Even
a limited production outboard might have many possible sources
        of a replacement carburetor.

Thank you for getting back to us. The carburetor is a Tillitson and the # is 194581 and looks to be the same as a Elto Fleet Twin. Records show that the manufacturer of this Seaking was Evinrude. Does any one know if the Elto Fleet-Twin has the same Carb. Also, can anyone help us out with the function of the Check valve in the crankcase, should there be a spring to hold the check valve closed?
          Sincerely,
          Charlie
