Working on a 39 Handitwin. It will run maybe 20 seconds then stop. After several of those short runs I got compression readings of 70 PSI stbd and 61 PSI port. Is compression the problem?

(Sounds low but-for comparison I have a 1938 Sportwin that runs well with compression of 62 PSI stbd and 59 port.)

      Thank you.

Edit – Borrowed the carb from the 1938 Sportwin and put it onto the Handitwin. The thing ran great in the air. Water is stiff here now. The garage is so full of blue smoke that I had to evacuate. When it clears I will compare carbs and hopefully fix the one off the Handitwin. 😀
