Elto Light Twin wires

Would someone know the original colors of the wires on the C series Light Twins. I am going to attempt to rebuild my coil and would like to get it as original looking as possible. Unfortunately mine were completely covered in friction tape.

Wires are black. Not sure of the color
of the 2 wires under the insulation that
go to the battery but what I have found
available are white and black. I believe
the original wires going to the battery
were the web cloth insulation type and
your not likely to find anybody
producing that with the black insulation
covering that they used back then today.

Well I guess they do make some and
would be correct for your coil as Tom
has posted. Got to looking in my files
and this picture shows some black
cloth covering still remaining with
brown cloth covered inside.

I was thinking of the earlier Super Elto
coils that had the rubber insulation.
(Well this coil came off an earlier
motor. Could be a replacement?)
