I agree with Tubs. I’ll add that starting with the timer centred is way too much timing. I’m impressed you can get it to start at all. With that much advance you run the risk of it starting in reverse. Do you have the correct flywheel? Speedster flywheels look the same, but are timed for more advance.
Perhaps we should take a step back. Why don’t you run us through your starting procedure. I find that ELTO’s benefit from a good amount of priming. Rocking the flywheel about 18-24 times before attempting to start is normal.
