The only color was in the decal. If you ordered paint from the factory, you received a quart of clear varnish and a half pint of aluminum paste to be mixed in proportion just prier to use. . . 😀

I like Rustoleum "Cast Aluminum" engine paint. It has a satin finish and it’s oil & gas resistant. I’ve used it on several tanks and lower units. After decals go on, I clear coat.
