      What colors were used on the Elto Pal gas tanks.

        Silver only.
        Decals were gold on some and blue on others, depending on the year.

                The only color was in the decal. If you ordered paint from the factory, you received a quart of clear varnish and a half pint of aluminum paste to be mixed in proportion just prier to use. . .

                    US MEMBER PAY BY CHECK

                    I like Rustoleum "Cast Aluminum" engine paint. It has a satin finish and it’s oil & gas resistant. I’ve used it on several tanks and lower units. After decals go on, I clear coat.
