Has anyone ever reproduced or found a substitution that will work for the points on the Elto timer? I am working on cleaning and repairing the timer for the quad and the metal on the points was rusted to the point of falling apart where the screw connects them.

      Thanks,
      Paul

        Paul,
The points in my Quads were all usable so I never ventured down that path.
Might a set from a Ruddertwin be the same length & size? I have never compared
        The two.

Glad to see you have decided to move forward on the project.

        Respectfully,

        Brook

I have a couple Ruddertwins in the shop. I was thinking the same thing. I will try to take a look tonight.

I figured while things soak I would at least keep going on the timer since it is the next biggest hurdle if this motor is going to get running. If I can get it put back together and working properly it will put my mind at ease or at least let me know if there is anther part I need to keep my eyes out for. The rest can sit as long as it takes. I have no shortage of projects not to mentions the lakes are now open and fishing is not far behind.

The down side of things is if it is found that they were able to be used in the Quad timer that would equal one timer fixed and two now inoperable.
            Fingers crossed for finding some.

I hear you on the no shortage of projects.

            Respectfully,

            Brook
