evenrude sportwin model 4423

hey guys . I’m buried again in carb trouble . working on this odd ball carb . not sure about the plungers for the primer . is there any special order ? I cant get a squirt of gas . i also believe i am missing the carburetor venturi according to the diagram . thanks in advance

Regarding the primer / plunger. Does the Sportwin 4423 have the rubber

cups like the Zephyr? I can’t remember, but there are tiny hydraulic cups

“out there”. (The part number eludes me at the moment)

that can be modified for the Zephyrs.

I found the primer cup data, from Mumbles….

The 4423 and Zephyr primer cups are two different sizes with the 4423 one being slightly smaller in diameter. I never did find a correct replacement for the Sportwin so there she sits, hanging patiently up in the rafters in the garage.

Kind of nice to see a throwback to the old boards with blue and comic sans script
