      Hello All,
I’ve been working on this little 1963 Evinrude 5.5hp Fisherman. My main bearing oil hose Part# 0303463 is broken and brittle and it is unavailable. Does anyone know what size hose this may be and what I could use as a suitable substitute.

      Thanks in Advance

I’ve just substituted rubber fuel hose of the same diameter.

          Thanks Bob,
That was my first thought but I wasn’t sure if this hose needed to be something special due to the heat being right on the block.

Well, I haven’t had one blow up yet! Not much different than the other fuel hoses under the motor cowl.

You should be able to find a short length of correct size Tygon at a local small engine repair shop.

Ii also like the Tygon. It’s clear so you can see things happen. I save leftovers and use them for fuel lines it’s tough stuff.

Tygon is available at local Home Depot.

Thanks for the suggestion, this is the first I’ve heard of this Tygon. I will get some of this
