I’m looking for a little help. I have an Evinrude ELTO PAL 4266 1.1 HP motor that I am looking to sell at an estate sale. I have no idea how much to ask for it. (I also have no idea if it runs – it likely hasn’t been used in over 50 years.) Located in SE Wisconsin.

Your motor is pretty common but there is a demand
for them. Condition affects value. The picture you
have provided gives little to speculate on condition
other than its not pristine. If I was to attend your
sale and find your motor has no broken parts, normal
compression, gas tank is not dented, sound inside, with
just surface rust on the outside, I would be interested
in it up $125.00. That’s is what it would be worth to me.
To someone else it may be worth several times that
or no more than $25.00. How many antique outboard
motor collectors do you expect to attend your sale?
There is no way to know what the value will be to those
who attend your sale other than they will be different.
You could put $50.00 on it and still have it at the end of
        the day.

A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

          Thank you, that was helpful.
Do you know of any Outboard motor clubs in Wisconsin?

                Thank you for your help!
We had our Estate Sale this weekend. I decided to go high and put $150 on the motor. We sold it the first day!
