Well… it’s heavy.
It’s a 1938 4.7 hp opposed twin cylinder motor. The brass lower unit makes it more collectible than the standard one. I believe it has a poppet valve carburetor, which has a very unique sound as the valve bangs up and down. Powerhead parts, such as the coil, are common to other motors.
To test the coil, measure resistance between the two high tension wires, not one at a time to the block. Don’t check for spark on either side without grounding the other side (or check both at the same time).
