      Just picked up this Evinrude Fisherman 6hp today. It has a front mounted shifter on it. Was this an OMC piece, or aftermarket? Here’s a video of it.

        They are a kit you bought. THey made them for a variety of horse powers. They sometimes come up on ebay.

          I would say aftermarket or home made but nice job either way.

              I suppose it is an aftermarket kit.

              OMC made a "vertical controls kit" including a throttle/shift adaptor, but with different design.
