      just wondering.I have a evinrude elto 4364 10370 sportsman.Someone painted tank green.After striping green it had a brown paint that i also striped.After striping i noticed no signes of decals ever being on tank?Could this motor been made for the military?Thanks for any input on this DaveR

        I think it’s more likely the green & brown paint is from service as a duck or fishing boat. Standard-issue marine engines would be of a higher horsepower and you’d see evidence of waterproofing the ignition components – eg highly insulated high tension leads.
