      I am in the process of restoring an Evinrude Ranger and need the recoil starter assembly. Does anyone know where I might be able to get one?

          Thanks for the parts list Gary. If I cannot round up the recoil start then I will put a rope sieve on.

            There are 2 starters for
            them. Why you should
            always post a model #
            and pictures if possible.

            A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

              I might have the casing for the recoil start laying around somewhere if you want that. Maybe it can be adapted to use more common internals?
