      Hi all

Just wandering if anyone might just have an online copy/scan of an exploded parts diagram for the gearbox of this motor? It is a 3hp model 4287 (1937 or 38 I think…)

Also, would anyone happen to know if there is somewhere I could get a new rubber ‘grommet’ or seal that seals the water tube where it fits into the top of the gearbox housing? The one currently on it is perished.

      Thanks in advance

      Cheers
      BP

They did not have exploded views in 1937. They used photo copies of parts laid out on a sheet in the engineering department. They started using blue prints in the late ’30s and switched to exploded views in 1947-48. . . 😮
1937 is work in progress …

This 1940 blue print has a different end cap and a clutch hubbed propeller.

We have Garry to thank for many of them.
