      Hi all,

I am working on an Evinrude 4404 Zephyr, circa 1948. I was wondering if anyone knew where I can get the primer cups for this model (they appear to be identical) or at least a part number. Any diagrams would be appreciated IMMENSELY!

Also, does anyone know what I should set the points to — will 0.020" do it?

      Thanks in advance!

A member did some research a while back to come up with replacement primer cups. This might help:

I believe .020 is correct for the points

Thanks everyone! Super helpful and a great start. The 1949 isn’t all that different — just the lower unit and a couple minor things. Thanks for getting me moving!
