      Would an exhaust tube and exhaust manifold from a 48 sportsman fit my 37 pal?

        Not likely and not all Pal manifolds are the same
        either. Your Pal should have a cast iron cylinder
        and takes the manifold with the straight exhaust
        bypass tube. The one with the step in the exhaust
        bypass tube is for the motors with an aluminum
        cylinder.

        A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
