      Hello new member here I am trying to find lower unit seal kit part number for my FD-11 18hp 1957 any info would be great thanks

            Yes, measure the OD of the prop shaft seal. There were a couple of different diameters over the years. Sometimes, in the long time these motors have been kicking around, the gear sets get swapped, along with the aft bearing carrier that holds the seal. Don’t just assume you have an OEM 1957 diameter seal, there.

              I measured the prop shaft seal it 1 1/4” outside diameter thanks for all the help
