the parts catalog says the part number is #376501 but I have a NOS one that is labeled as fitting an FD-11 but the number on the box and on the nut itself is #305394. was the first number superceded?

by the way, I bought some stainless rod at 3/16 and made a whole bunch of drive pins for the FD-11. thanks for the dimensions chris!

      thanks!

      EDIT!!!

I just looked in a couple parts catalogs and see that the #305394 nut is for the 1958 QD-19 10 hp.

ok, so does anybody have the right number for the FD-11 prop nut?

There is only like 2 prop shaft sizes, if the threads are right and the cotter key holes line up, you’re good.

Hmmm….. Nope. It’s too small. The 1958 shafts have smaller diameters. Dang! I’m not too excited about spending 29 bucks on one, that’s for sure.

Does anybody know what motors would have a compatible prop nut that would fit the FD-11?

Also, anybody know when they started putting plastic prop nuts on instead of metal ones? I’d like to find a metal one if possible.

                  Thanks for any info!

Scott, I have a 57 and a 59 parts motors. If you need one and it fits, it’s yours Buddy. Let me know.
As far as the metal to plastic goes, I have a 59 Evinrude 18 with the metal nut, but my 59 Johnson FD 13 has the plastic nut. So I’m thinking the change must have occurred around that time ❓
