      I found a source for the key I need but it is not local. Wondering if anyone has a part number for the key besides the Merc one. Maybe NAPA or Sierra? Or ???

      The Merc number is 28-20907

        Have you considered making the key from key stock with a file?

          Yes, but as I would have to go to the parts store to get some key stock anyway I thought I’d try for a part number as well. I live in the sticks of Whidbey Island and the nearest auto parts store is 10 miles away. Seaway Marine is only about 20 miles but also entails a ferry ride.
