Club Wise Owls:   Please tell me the diameter size, and thread size of the nut that holds the flywheel down.    1975 Evinrude 4HP (4536A).     I hope to meet some of you at Bob Grubb’s Swap Meet this Saturday.    (I’d really learn MUCH if I could meet, and pick the brain of AOMCI member; “Fleetwin”).     Our Club can boast of having a gaggle of  “Wise Owls” who know our old motors from top to bottom, and inside out.    The Wise Owls are worth their weight in gold to members such as me.    Fred Hickman, Millville, NJ.  (Busted Knuckle Chapter).

Love that hat Fred.  Have you searched at MarineEngine.com?  They will most likely have the parts diagram for your make and model.  Once you have the parts diagram you can find the part number and an internet search by OMC followed by the part number usually nets you several sources.

          Let’s go Brandon!

Keep politics off the site. Go elsewhere if you want to post that.
