      I’m having trouble removing the flywheel. I built a custom flywheel puller however the threads in my metal plate broke. Any suggestions on how to find/make one?

          The threads on my crankshaft are not damaged. Its the threads on my makeshift flywheel puller.

            drill your tool to let the bolt go thru. then use a nut under the plate. that way it can be replaced at any time. you will need 2 wrenches.

                  Or make yourself a flywheel knocker. Works great for small motors. See this old thread which includes pictures and instructions:
