      A "Boathouse Repair" is one that done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

        Thank you Tubs,

        I am experimenting also and haven’t been able to find an easier way.

        Each method i try seams to have it’s own list of advantages and disadvantages.

        And just as you have experienced, some have taken me several steps backwards.

        I guess that’s why the professionals charge so much!
