I have a Johnson two line tank in good shape except for a small hole in the bottom. While I was considering options for patching it,I remembered a single line tank of the same vintage a friend gave me.After removing both tops I see the two line top is a perfect fit on the single line tank.Only problem I see is the single line tank has no interior baffle. Will be this be an issue? Some reason a two line tank needs a baffle and a one line tank does not?

yup all of the working parts are in the handle section The lack of baffle should not cause any problems Stan in ohio scj616@aol.com

The two line tank was originally built with the baffle to ensure proper mixing of the gas and oil. Improved outboard oil made the baffles unnecessary. . . 😀
