I recently renewed my membership in AOMCI , I let it lag a bit because of health issues. I plan on attending a local event in my area and would like to at least have a copy of the conformation e-mail to present at the meet. I have not received that e-mail and when I tried the contact us on the web site I also go no response. My e-mail account is in order so no issues there. Is there another way to contat someone at AOMCI to get them to send out a e-mail to me? Thanks, and looking forward to membership.
April 23, 2022 at 11:10 am #258804It’s unlikely you will have any issue at a local meet, you can check with them if they require confirmation. I don’t think I’ve been asked for my membership info before, I certainly don’t carry anything with me.
April 23, 2022 at 11:38 am #258805You have to be a National Member to join a local Chapter but I have never heard of any local meet turning a visitor away. They will be happy to see you!

I realize that I would not be turned away from the meet but I plan on bringing a few of my treasures to show and some extra parts to trade or give to others who attend. It would be nice to say that I am a member but I am unsure because the lack of communication. I will go one way or the other. I am just trying to do it the proper way. Thanks again.

There are a couple different ways for active membership of AOMCI
- login to https://www.aomci.org with your username/password and pull up your membership account
- on https://www.aomci.org goto members only section then Inner Sanctum and view current membership roster updated monthly
- Get in contact with our membership chair Dave Nau thru email or cell
- All Chapter Presidents get a monthly copy of active AOMCI members
- Have Chapter look you up when your at a specific meet.

Important! You must click on the confirmation URL sent to [my e-mail] before you gain full access to your membership.”
But no URL has been sent. Maybe it takes some time, but it has been a few days and nothing. Not that I am in a rush, I just want to make sure all is good with the account.
