I have a 1955 Evinrude 7.5. I need the gasket for the glass bowl on the bottom of the carburetor. Can’t seem to locate one or the complete fuel filter assembly.
      Thanks! Peter G.

I just made one up a few weeks ago from gasket material . just draw it out with the bowl and cut it with an exacto knife.

I have been doing what “crosbyman” has been doing using cork gasket sheets. Works great and very cost effective

$9 for the gasket and the same again for shipping. Not really cost-effective.

I have some gasket material that seems to be a mixture of cork and rubber, about 1/16″ thick. I would try that but soak it in gas to see if the rubber is resistant. Otherwise you can use pure cork sheeting.
