      Gopher lower unit picture. (Couldn’t add a picture in ‘reply’ mode).
      You should try heating the area of the casting between the pump cam and prop area. And lube it.

        Hotrod, thanks for the pictuses. I was able to get the shaft to turn inside the lower unit, I did not try pulling the shaft from the casting yet. Now that I have your picture I will proceed with caution. I might have a piston inside the LU, im still looking.
