If it has not been run in a while, the original coils would crack with age. They would have to be changed if cracked. Easy to check by removing the three screws holding the auto-rewind starter. Two screws hold the inspection hole cover on the flywheel. . . 😉

I see some over spray on the stand, so it’s been touched up some. Nothing wrong with that though! Nice looking motor.

$175 with tank, stand, and title. Also got a complete spare magneto, carburetor, 3 propellers and prop caps and a spare recoil starter in good condition and a new starter handle. He said it had a fresh rebuild on the motor. Will see if it runs tomorrow.

Spent $40 in gas and 6 hours on the road to go get it. It’s the best deal I’ve gotten in a long time.
