      Can’t figure which way to go. The cover won’t go up because of differences in drive shaft diameter and the plate won’t go down because of the collar below it on the shaft. It looks like the collar could be tapped off but I don’t want to goof things up worse.

        Got it. Just needed some persuasion. Everything is buttoned back up and waiting for what little oil I didn’t pour on my shoes to drain. Can I go back with a standard LU 90 weight lube?
