Anyone know the torque value for the head bolts after a new head gasket? Do they make a good repair manual for the OMC 50’s outboards. Specifically a cd-13a? Thanks! This forum is a fantastic resource.

Here are the torque values for your motor. 60 to 84 inch pounds for the head bolts.
Aww, Mumbles, you beat me to it LOL
As important, a few things.
Dress the head before installing.
Coat bolts with OMC Gasket Sealing Compound
Torque in a spiral fashion, starting in center bolt and working way outwards.
Start with half torque for a pass, then 3/4, then the final torque.
Re torque after a couple runs.
