      Hello!

First of all, I would like to thank AOMCI. My father, who passed in 2016, was a long time member in Missouri. He absolutely loved collecting and running outboards, and your community was nothing but amazing to him.

While I never picked it up with the same enthusiasm, I could never part with his ’58 Feathercraft Vagabond. It hasn’t seen the water since 2014, but I was hoping that this was the year. My two kiddos are just old enough that I really am feeling the pull to take her back out on the water.

I’ve been trying to track down some help here in Tucson, AZ to get it back up and running (’59 Evinrude Lark), but have not been successful thus far. Does anyone know of any marine places or individuals around that could help? I’ve gotten a lot of “I’m sorry, we don’t service anything that old.” I really don’t think it will need much, as he always did such a good job winterizing, but I really don’t know enough about everything to start tinkering a whole lot myself.

      Thanks in advance!
      Joe Cohn

According to the “Active Chapters” tab under “About”, there’s
a AOMCI Chapter based in Scottsdale. Hopefully someone
from the area will help out.

        Prepare to be boarded!
