      Can anyone tell me what the chrome handle/support is for?
      Assuming the wrench is a spark plug and/or prop nut ?
      Motor is a 1956 Evinrude 15 Super Fastwin.

        The "handle" is a trailering lock to hold motor in tilted position while trailering. It snaps into the bottom of the stern brackets and the tilt lock keeps it from bouncing out. Tape is not standard issue.
