      Does anyone have a functioning lower unit or skag that does not have a crack for sale for this motor?

          Opps – my mistake! I seldom look at the serial number for the year on OMCs. Garry is right. It makes a bit more sense now.

              Note that someone has appeared to swap lids because your ID plate says it’s 35 HP, which is consistent with 1959 model lineup.
