      I picked up this little engine at a junk auction.  It turns over OK and seems to have pretty good compression.  I’d like to refurbish it but I don’t know who made it or when.  There are no decals, stickers, or any characters stamped in it anywhere.  If one of you can ID this thing, I’d sure appreciate it!  About the only markings are PRIME, RICH, LEAN, and STOP around the needle valve handle.

        It’s a Gale product, maybe a SeaBee. Late 40’s, early 50’s perhaps.

          US MEMBER PAY BY CHECK

          Could be another Gale Rebrand  called Hiawatha.  Good simple motors.  Lots of minor variations over quite a few models produced for quite a while.
