      So i wondering if anyone can clue me into parts avaiblity and also what year this engine might be

        Well you are in luck. Your Hiawatha was made by Gale in 1954. 5HP. I suspect that you have a number wrong in the model number. Instead of Model # 450MI257073A…..perhaps that last zero is actually a 9?

        Gale is a division of OMC so parts should be plentiful.

          yes you are correct on the 0 being a 9 its a motor im looking at buying here and trying to decide between it and a sort of clapped out TD20
