Homelite/Bearcat info and stuff?

I was able to get several Homelites at the recent Ault auction, so I’m trying to revive my long dormant Homelite/Bearcat project. It seems, though, that support for these has mostly evaporat ed over the last several years. Is anyone in the Club presently known to be taking an interest in these motors?

Is this site familiar? https://everythingaboutboats.org/bearcat/ They claim to have many documents but want $25 to have a look at them….

It was almost worth $25 bucks just to read the history of the Bearcat. Wow, I had no idea.
