I posted about a week ago but i cant seem to find my original thread, oh well.
Ive got this motor and it was running but its pretty rough. i took apart the carb to do a clean and all the rubber is gone. disintegrated. and all parts for this carb are discontinued. is there an aftermarket carb for this motor or does someone have the gasket set sitting in the back of their garage?

or should i just try to sell the thing for parts?

If you mean the rubber O rings and seals are gone, these guys, among others, carry the complete gasket set for your carb. Try doing a Google search for your model and you’ll find whatever you need.

nope these guys do not have the parts….ive tried a number other sites as well including boats.net and honda. ive tried most marine shops in my area (vancouver BC) and it looks like i am sol.

Try SG Power in Victoria at 250-382-8291. They have a good supply of older stock and may have what you need.

Unfortunately, their top parts guy left for greener pastures a couple years ago and they have some flunkies working in the parts department now so you will have to be patient with them. It would help if you could give them the P/N’s of the pieces you need.
