Working on a 10hp-56 Evinrude and pretty much all done and OK but when I replaced the side air/fuel connector for a “one hose” connector (pump installed) the back end (hose side) of the my new…connector is almost 1/4 inch big !!

fishing my new “single” fuel line to the new pump proves a challenge because the air/fuel underside opennings on the motor are a rather small and I can’t wiggle a fat 1/4 hose line in the old fuel/air holes

and special trick or thin wall fuel lines I can use ? drill a bigger new hole underside ?
