On Ebay of course.
A lot of house paint somewhat left over and a great advert description.

Possibly made up from parts of 2 or more motors
with some home made parts thrown in?
B serial # with an A reversing lower unit.
Kees – your thoughts?

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

Are you trying to say that the coil bracket and coil are not original equipment ?
It would be nice to have a timer handle. . . ❓

These things changed so much through the years
that there is no way I can remember it all.

December 5, 2016 at 5:30 pm #48600Overall assessment that it’s a 1914 model B with some incorrect/later model parts would be correct.
As Tubs stated, incorrect parts would include the lower unit at the very least. I don’t have a model-year guide in my head, so s/n would have to be compared with known reference lists.
Tiller handle – they did not use crimped steel tubing at the factory.
Water exit tube cut off too short.
Flywheel looks like correct one, exhaust and muffler look great, compensator on driveshaft tube is right for that model year.
Hope this helps.
best,

December 5, 2016 at 6:09 pm #48603I agree the majority is 1914. Just looking at it quick as others did.
Incorrect parts in my opinion
Mixing valve valve lift screw & needle valve.
Miscellaneous nuts& bolts
Tiller handle
Water pump
Water pump lift ring
Gear footThe tank is correct
Plus in looks like Santa & his elfs threw up on it.Always interesting seeing the mismatch & what folks creative minds come up with to keep them up and running.
Respectfully
