      If I have this correct, it was 1969 that the Lightwin got an extra hp. It looks to me like the displacement was unchanged.

        They have much higher compression for one and probably have a bigger throat in the carb. The one needle bearing on top of the crank would help to.

            Yeah, bore and stroke were unchanged from 69. But, I’m sure the ports and head were different…Bigger intake manifold as well.

                Is you Gage reading PSI , My 1971 4 hp Lightwin reads 90 PSI which is higher than the 3 hp models.
