Info here suggests that today’s gas will/can be absorbed into a cork carb float. I assume that this doesn’t happen overnight. Can I guess that I’d be safe if I make sure that the bowl is empty when the motor is stored? To coat the float, I hate to mess with the float keepers/clips to get the float out to coat it.

A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.
