I’ve put up an ad, had folks ask questions but it won’t let me respond to them. This board is different than the one I installed many years ago, but I’m not that out of it. 🙂

send a private message when all else fails.
December 21, 2015 at 12:48 am #28927Remember the old webvertize page – you couldn’t reply. There should be a box at top left and bottom left with "post reply".

webmaster@aomci.orgDecember 21, 2015 at 7:23 pm #28977Hmmm, still doesn’t show a Post Reply button.
December 21, 2015 at 7:57 pm #28980The ‘Post Reply’ buttons at the top and bottom of your add are just for replying to your add. The way the system works, the only way to contact a replier is to click on their name or the contact button on the right hand side and send them a PM unless they have posted their contact info. This holds true for all sections on these boards.

December 21, 2015 at 10:34 pm #28987When I log out of the board, the Post Reply button appears, but when I click on Post Reply and attempt to log in, I get a "You cannot reply in this forum."
Do you mean to say "The ‘Post Reply’ buttons at the top and bottom of your add are just for others replying to your ad."? If so, that doesn’t seem to be the case for all the ads on the Webvertize, since I’ve seen other ads where the original poster has replied more than once.

December 22, 2015 at 5:33 pm #29033Are you logging in first Dan? If so, you should be able to reply to any ad.
Using the reply buttons will also let you reply to your own ad.

December 23, 2015 at 1:42 am #29055So ‘Post Reply’ buttons are not visible when you are logged in?
