I went to an estate auction today and ended up doing really well! I ended up bringing home three old outboards.

First I picked up a 1953-54 Johnson RD-15 25 hp that is set up for remote controls (has pulleys and no tiller) that is in great condition I already have spark and the carb is spotless. It also came with the original Johnson 6 gallon pressure tank. That just needs new hoses.

Second is a 1948 Scott Atwater 481 3.6 hp that is just missing the recoil starter and the prop/skew is damaged. I already have spark on this one as well and the carb seems to be clean. Should fire if I put gas to it.

The last one I got is a 1940 evinrude sportwin 3.3 hp. Already have spark here as well. It has a bent exhaust tube and missing the recoil starter as well. Looks like it will need a more extensive going through than the other two.

All in all I think I did really well for my next few projects. Oh ya and did I mention that I only pain 30 bucks for all three and the tank? Can’t get much better than that! Pictures to come soon!

I mean this in the nicest way, but you suck.

I went to an estate sale today, and there was NOTHING at all regarding any of my interests.

        No boat stuff.
        No Coleman camp gear.
        No good tools.
        No Cast Iron.
What was there was priced way high. And, I waited in line just to get in. All for nothing.

        Just call me Nick Bitterman.
