Yesterday I picked up a SpeediTwin and a SpeediFour. I finally got them manhandled out of my van, and cleaned up a bit and on the rack in the cellar.

These things are Monsters! I will not be moving them around much, that I can tell you! Not in any hurry to get these going, as Winter is just around the corner. The Four is complete as far as I can tell. No broken parts, tec.

The Twin has a missing Spark advance lever, broken twist grip, and some issues with the lower unit.

But for $50 for the pair, no complaints. Have a look.

I’m glad I didn’t see them. My back isn’t in the best condition and they wouldn’t help it. I couldn’t have passed them up either!

I have a battery powered hoist I would be using on them. It rolls around my shop. I use a sling with a big ring and two belts. Works really well on the Big 4. Wish I had a SpeediTwin and SpeediFour! 😐 😐

David Bartlett, I think you made a heck of a deal for $50 bucks. Can’t wait to hear you start them up and post a video of those monsters!!!

That has to be the deal of the month, or year!

You better start eating lots of spinach if you’re going to be packing those heavyweights around!

Awesome deal there. I bet it wouldn’t take much to get those running either

This was one of those right place, right time moments that happen now and then. I got lucky. The guy who had them is a master tech outboard mechanic who got them where he worked a couple years ago when they were set to be scrapped. He just figured someone else should do the rest!

I will slowly get to these during the cold weather and will post updates as it happens and questions occur.

Thanks all for the kind words and future support!
