Identify Fuel Tank

Is this an Evinrude fuel tank , if so would you know the year ?

From the manuals I’ve seen, ’57 was the first year for the black push button. ’56 and earlier had the aluminum push rod. The tanks were used for both Evinrude and Johnson depending on the decals applied.

Thank You Steve , I’ll decide which decals to apply to go with my 1956 J 10hp QD-17 that I’ll be listing in the classifieds.  D
