Anyone selling these? I have a 20hp Sea King from 69’/70′ that needs a new impeller. I poked around but the Chrysler/West Bend stuff confuses me. Thanks for any help.

If the motor happens to be a ’73 or newer, Chrysler used Sierra # 18-8903 on everything from 10 to 25 HP for several years – if it’s really a ’69 -70, it may not fit.

Confuses me too. Laing’s Outboard Service says it takes a 901065, not available.

I think you want an F-436065 or Sierra 18-8903. These fit a wide variety of motors in the West Bend/Elgin/Chrysler/Force lineage. I just put one on a 1957 Elgin (West Bend) 12 hp. These fit 1/2 in drive shafts. I’m not sure at what power they went to a 5/8" shaft. That uses a different impeller.

At the moment, $12.27 from Amazon.

So, when taking the lower unit off, it drops about an inch or so in reverse and there was a screw holding a "hook"-like clamp in place. Looks like the rod goes into a plastic shaft? I removed the clamp but nothing happened….Do I need to remove the powerhead to remove the lower unit?

I confess I have no idea what you are describing. Doesn’t it have an external turnbuckle shift rod connector beside the exhaust housing? That would be so typical Chrysler.
