      can anyone tell me what year and / or h.p. a yamaha P95 is ? it looks to be under 6 h.p. judging by the size

        The P95 is an air cooled 5 hp and was introduced in 1968. Not sure how long they made it.

          The P series motors were Yamaha’s first offerings back in the sixties and possibly in the early 70’s and the P-95 was rated at five HP and used a motorcycle engine. The first ones were painted white and grey changing to blue with a white hood. A yamaha dealer might be able to confirm the exact year if you provide the numbers on the ID tag.
