      A "Boathouse Repair" is one thats done without having tools or the skills to do it properly.

        I guessing there might be a certain amount of asbestos in the Smooth-on. I could always tell by smelling it! (not really)
        Very interesting place to check out.

            Resembles my boathouse – lots of old stuff there, too. Have used Smooth-on. Think it was a mix of iron powder and some binder – predated epoxy, I think. It worked pretty well.

            Think it was wired by a plumber! 😛

              The one thing that caught my eye was the Hill Bros coffee can. My grandparents use to drink that when I was a kid, and I remember being very young and asking Grandma why the guy on the can was wearing a "dress." That was a lot for a 5 year old to process! 😆
