      A 3Hp Folder with a decent case does not appear all that often.

      Is this setup legit?

      I ask as I have probably earlier folders and have never seen one as this.

        BnC, the folder is 1968 Evinrude 3hp. I have one just like it. Totally legit. 1968 3hp came with a fiber/plastic hood and fuel pump. The 4hp follows in 1969 with the same set up.

        The seller is asking a hefty price for that one.

            Well, the ’68 Lightwin/JW is a loner motor. The only 3hp with the fiberglass hood and remote tank. Priors were metal integrated tanks and all after that year were 4hp. A folder with case may likely fetch the $750 or more.
