      Where is the water discharge on these motors?

            300 yes, 200 not so sure!

              Good point. The 200 doesn’t have a water pump and uses the pressure-vacuum system found on other Johnsons of the era. The discharge outlet is under water, in front of the prop.

                OOOOOOO, so the only way to tell if the water is in fact running through the system is to put your hand near the cylinder and see how hot it is? OUCH!

                  Or.. you could put your hand down by the prop and feel the discharge…. NOT!

                    Or carry an infrared thermometer with you. It’ll let you know if the motor is hot without burning your hide!
