I am changing my crankshaft in my 1958 35hp Johnson part number 502530. I have a 1957 sea king 25hp power head will the crankshafts interchange. I have not been able to find a part number for the sea king crankshaft.

1957 Gale Sea king had two different part numbers, 203655 and 302530.  I don’t know the difference without a bit of digging.

EDIT:  302530 was superseded by 203655.

EDIT, EDIT.  Are you sure the number you gave, 502530 is correct?  Maybe 302530?

The ’58 35hp crankshaft is part #302530 superseded to 203655, so the ’57 Sea King crankshaft will work.   The same crankshaft was used on OMC built 25, 30 & 35hp motors from I believe 1951 thru 1958.

Thanks everyone for all your input as always, The part number is 302530 as corrected. I am still A bit technology challenged. The flywheel taper is bad on the 35hp. this is a great winter project for me up in Michigan.
